Ok so here’s the deal. If you like Reuben, regardless who you are, we’re going to be friends.

My favourite ever band, producing an absolute masterpiece of an album. Every tune features massive riffs and some of the most delightful chords from Jamie, solid gut punching bass from Jon and incomprehensibly stylistic drumming creativity from Guy. These guys are the nicest chaps to ever get it on and rock the feck out. When Jamie makes music he walks you through his beefs with life, love, jobs and jerks. Sometimes he gets a bit cold and alone and loves a grumble, but does it with nothing less than a mouthful of hairy, ballsy riffs. Got Problems? SHUT UP AND NOSH ON THIS

The thing about Reuben is that they love to get stuck in with the arrangement of their tunes. If the verse consists of a particular riff, come the 2nd time round it will be slightly different. A cheeky harmonic or mute here or there, letting chords ring out or switching up the strumming pattern. The sound would be epic without these details, but with keeps them sounding just as sexy come the bsquillionth listen as they did the first.
