We rediscovered these guys when we were shithammered and talking about going to the zoo. My friend saw them on TV ONE time TEN years ago and still remembered them, giving me this hilarious rendition of their song ‘The Zoo’ which turned out to be pretty damn close to the original. You know its a great tune when it lodges itself in your head for that long after one play! No one knows these guys, they have like 30 weekly plays on lastFM and never made it, but they’re incredible! Simple tunes, crazy lyrics, CRAZY videos, uber heavy riffs, catchy as hell. They hit the scene around the same time that Korn were exploding, and with a similar heavy+simple riffy style just got totally left in the shadows. They went on to form ‘Sweden’s Finest’ and continued to make crazy ass tunes like ‘Real Men Dance’ which is also god damn excellent.
